WW2 Limited Edition Commemorative Pen
We are taking orders for a special limited-edition World War II Custom Commemorative pen. These pens are made from antique brass and unused, uncirculated U.S. postage stamps from the early 1940s. The pen comes with a C of A (Certificate of Authenticity) stating it is one of a very limited edition consisting of only 10 pens.
The Process: Due to the size of the pen relative to the stamps, it is impossible to get all the WW2 stamps displayed in the product pictures on one pen. When you place your order, you will need to tell us which stamps you want on the pen according to the priority you establish. You will have at least two whole stamps on the barrels, with partial stamps to fill the rest. See the accompanying photo of the U.S. stamps commemorating World War II
Once your selection is made, the work begins. I remove the gum backing before bonding to the pen tubes. Then the stamps are adhered directly to the brass pen tube and gently coated with a permeating, protective coating before David hand-casts the tubes in epoxy. If you have a special request or question, please let us know using the Contact Us site feature. Please be sure to include your phone number and email address.
If you or one of your relatives came from or fought in one of the ten “occupied countries” let me know so he can be sure to include as least a portion of that country's stamp.
A photograph of your pen will be proudly displayed on your certificate. It will be dated and signed with the number assigned to that pen in the edition. You might make a copy of the certificate for insurance purposes.
Lead time to ship is about four weeks.
