Gold Filigree on Curupay
The cap and body of this pen are made of Curupay (Anadenanthera macrocarpa) wood from Paraguay. Curupay is a dense tight grain wood with dark brown to near black tones. This wood has become rare in the last decade; the demand is high but the supply has dried up, making this version of one of our pens very special. The 24kt filigree on the cap transforms what might otherwise look like a simple brown pen into a stunning piece of art.
The filigrees are available in gold, silver and black. The stock for the body is nearly unlimited in choices of various species of wood and a multitude of colors and patterns in acrylic.
